Around the League CFB & NFL (9/28-9/29)

Week 5 in College Football was nothing short of thrilling. To start things off, we had a matchup between No. 5 Alabama and No. 2 Georgia in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This game got off to a fast start when Alabama went up 21-0 after the first quarter. It took Georgia a while to find the endzone, but they ended up coming back and scored the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. This didn't last long, though, as Alabama immediately scored on the first play after they gave up the lead. Georgia would run it down the field, but threw an interception in the end-zone to seal the win for Alabama.

No. 13 USC faced off against a solid Wisconsin team this week. USC looked shaky for the second consecutive week in the first half, as they were down 21-10 at halftime. The biggest question mark has been the defense for USC, but they proved their critics wrong in the second half. They gave up 0 points the rest of the game and ended up beating Wisconsin 38-21.

The biggest upset of the week came when No. 10 Utah lost to unranked Arizona. Utah struggled big time on offense and was only able to put up a field goal in the first half. They attempted to com back in the fourth quarter, but ended up dropping the game 23-10. Utah has a rough path to make the playoffs now, with star senior and quarterback, Cam Rising, injured.

Overall, this week of college football was action-packed and exciting to watch. College football fans had little to no complaints about the quality of games that were on all day. We look forward to watching a bunch of conference matchups next week and see who really deserves recognition and who should be considered for the College Football Playoff.
